More frequent appointments with the gynecologist begin – they can be weekly or biweekly.

During the 30th gestational week, the abdomen grows at an elusive pace. The uterus continues to rise and its bottom is almost at the middle of the abdomen. This can provoke unpleasant sensations because of the pressure on the internal organs.

Constipation and heartburn are common. They can worsen the mood of the pregnant woman, who, to alleviate her condition, will have to limit even the consumption of foods she likes. For example, fried potatoes for dinner.

At night, in addition to struggling for a comfortable sleeping posture, you may face frequent stiffness of the limbs. It is no longer advisable to sleep on your stomach, as this impairs the blood supply to the placenta.

The best resting posture is in a sitting position with the feet elevated on a pillow, at a 45 degree angle. In the evening it is advisable to sleep on your side. According to specialists – mostly on the right side.

The good news is that you feel almost every movement of your future baby. It already feels that it is narrow. If it hasn’t moved its head down, it will soon enough. Keep monitoring the frequency of your child’s movements – during daylight hours they should be no less than 10.

If the amniotic fluid starts leaking, do not hesitate to go to the doctor. There is a risk of infection of the decidua.

The presence of bleeding can be a sign of a problem with the placenta.
